The Livebox Instacast is a portable hardware encoder device that can live stream even with the low-internet connectivity. It is just enough to have this encoder device fixed to the camera to start the live streaming from anywhere. Even in the absence of a camera, live streaming can still be carried out with the help of a USB device.
So, to live streaming using this Livebox Instacast encoder device,
Note: To access the Encoder settings page from your browser, you can use the IP visible on your Encoderdevice along with the port URL (:3978) provided by the IVB7 team. E.g., 127.0.0.1:3978
Turn on your Livebox Instacast device.
Make sure that you have connected your camera/USB device to the Livebox Instacast encoder.
For the network connectivity, you can use it through the LAN or Wi-Fi connection.
Now login to the Encoder settings page from your browser.
In the Encoder settings, select a Preset by clicking the drop-down menu.
You can also create your own preset by using the given readymade preset values.
After selecting the preset, you can enter the RTMP URL of your Livebox server channel, social media accounts or any RTMP servers and click the “Start” button.
It shows the Live streaming status on the bottom of the “Encoder settings page” as well as on the “Encoder device”.

Go to Apps from the Navigation menu.
Install the Video Conferencing app.
Open the app and go by clicking the ‘Create’ button to create your first video conferencing entry.
Enter a name for your conference.
There is a ‘Waiting Room link’ option, which is optional, where you can enter YouTube URL or embed code to keep the video conferencing members engaged before the admin (Moderator) starts the conference.
Then under ‘Settings’, select the features that you want to include in the video conferencing chatroom.
You can create your own video conferencing presets with the features given under ‘Settings’ based on your requirements.
Also, select video conference video quality.
Then click the ‘Create’ button. And the video conference will be created.
Now by turning On the button under ‘Mode’, you can activate the video conference you have created.
You also have the option to schedule the Start and End timings of your video conference.
To enter your video conferencing portal, click the ‘Open a New Tab’ button.
On your video conference page, you can click ‘Allow’ to access your microphone and camera.
Within a few seconds, you can get started with your first video call using the Livebox Video Conferencing app.
Give your name for the video calling.
You are almost ready now! Go by inviting your peers by sharing the conference URL link.
There is also another way to get your video conferencing link. You can go back to your video conferencing app dashboard on Livebox and click on the highlighted icon to copy the link and send it to your fellow peers.

The following steps will provide you clear-cut representations to stream your videos in Facebook live using the Livebox streaming server.
Create your channel on Livebox and stream a source to the channel.
Then preview the live source on the Livebox Dashboard.
Now go to Push Destinations under Manage Channels.
A Push Destinations window opens, select your streaming channel and then click the “Add Destination” button located on the right side or the thunder button on the left side to select your destination.
A dialog box “Share on” with several destinations shows up. As you wanted to stream live on Facebook, select the Facebook option and then click Push live stream to Facebook to get connected to Facebook.
Note: If you select the option Automatically TURN ON when adding push value, the live stream will automatically begin to happen on your Facebook destination once the live streaming set-up is done. Otherwise, you have to manually turn on the push value followed by giving Go Live on Facebook live streaming settings page.
Once you select Push live stream to Facebook, a pop-up notification on the top left of your browser appears, on which you can give “Always allow” and click “Done”.
Now you’ll be able to access your Facebook login page.
After logging in, select your sharing option and click the “Next” button.
Once you click the “Next” button, a Connect your Live stream to the Live API Facebook page opens, you can minimize the window to see your Facebook destination being added on the push destination.
Note: If you didn’t select the Automatically TURN ON when adding push value option, then you have to Turn On the push value to start your live streaming.
Then go to Facebook, where it starts to fetch your Livebox contents for streaming.
Your contents are now fetched, so you can give nice description and title to your stream and also decide the audience to share your live stream with.
Then click on the Go Live button on the right bottom corner.
Note: Unless you click on the Go Live button, the live streaming won’t happen on your Facebook timeline.
You are now on live streaming on Facebook. Check your live streaming on your Facebook timeline.
You have successfully live streamed on Facebook through push destination.
The Livebox streaming server supports the live streaming of the 360-degree camera and its source. So, to live stream a 360-degree source in Livebox you can’t do in the regular streaming way, as you have to enable a few settings in the player settings.
